Giri Fine Arts (GFA) is a wing of Lakshmi Giri Charitable Trust, named after Late Smt. Lakshmi & Shri. TVS Giri, the founder of Giri Trading Agency Private Limited a name popular among most Hindu Community. Smt.& Shri.Giri were connoisseurs of Indian Art and Culture. They had deep knowledge of Indian Scriptures and were well versed in ritualistic and religious practices.
GIRI has been conducting a Seasonal Music Festival every year since 2008 and has provided an opening to many young upcoming artists to showcase their talent. The initiative to start GFA was mooted by teachers, parents of performers who have been performing at the GIRI Music Festival and patrons of GTAPL.
Today, there are limited platforms and opportunities available to upcoming artists in the field of fine arts to hone their skills. GFA through its periodically scheduled programs intends to reduce the void of opportunities to budding and grooming artists. GFA provides platforms and opportunities to upcoming talents throughout the year by conducting events at various places. The venues include temples, malls, parks and auditoriums or any private or public place where the GFA deems fit to organize or participate in performances. While the GFA encourages budding artists, it also invites and organizes programs by leading and popular artists.
